Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Laundrease platform (including our website, mobile application, and related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Laundrease Technologies Private Limited.
2. Description of Services
Laundrease is an on-demand laundry platform that connects customers with independent laundry service providers and delivery partners. We facilitate the pickup, cleaning, and delivery of garments and household textiles. Laundrease acts as an intermediary platform and is not itself a laundry service provider.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at security@laundrease.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. Laundrease is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.
4.1 Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
4.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication where available.
5. Orders & Service
When you place an order through the platform, you are entering into a service agreement with the laundry provider you select. Laundrease facilitates this transaction but is not a party to the service agreement between you and the provider.
5.1 Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled up to 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations after this window may incur a cancellation fee of ₹50.
5.2 Service Quality
While we vet all service providers, Laundrease cannot guarantee the quality of services provided by independent partners. In case of quality issues, please contact our support team within 24 hours of delivery.
6. Payments & Pricing
All prices displayed on the platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is required at the time of order placement for prepaid orders. Cash on delivery is available in select areas. Prices are subject to change; the price at the time of order confirmation is binding for that transaction.
7. Liability & Limitation
Laundrease liability for any lost or damaged garment is limited to ₹5,000 per garment and ₹20,000 per order. We are not liable for damages resulting from normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or items left in pockets. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. Prohibited Items
You must not include the following in laundry orders: cash or currency, jewellery or valuables, illegal substances, hazardous materials, or items of irreplaceable sentimental value. Laundrease is not liable for loss of prohibited items submitted with laundry orders.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Laundrease platform — including logos, text, graphics, and software — is the property of Laundrease Technologies Private Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
