How We Vet Every Partner
We do not let just anyone handle your belongings.
Identity Verification
We verify Aadhaar, PAN, driving license, and vehicle documents for all delivery partners. Laundry providers submit business registration and GST certificates.
Rating-Based Access
Partners must maintain a minimum 3.5-star rating to stay active. Consistent low ratings may result in retraining or permanent removal from the platform.
Continuous Monitoring
We run periodic re-verification checks and monitor complaint patterns. A single serious complaint triggers an immediate investigation.
Protecting Your Belongings
Your clothes and personal items deserve careful handling.
Dedicated Order Bags
Each order is assigned a unique order number, which is written on the dedicated bag containing your garments. The same bag stays with your order throughout the process until delivery, helping keep your items organized and identifiable.
Pickup Condition Check
At pickup, our delivery partner checks the garments and their visible condition before accepting the order. This helps identify any pre-existing concerns before your items are sent for processing.
Tamper-Evident Packaging
All orders are sealed in tamper-evident packaging at the laundry facility before dispatch. If the seal is broken on delivery, do not accept the package and contact support.
Loss & Damage Policy
If an item is damaged, lost, or stolen, report it with photos within 72 hours of delivery from your order page. In eligible cases, compensation is provided according to our Loss & Damage Policy, up to 10x the item's cleaning charge. Approved compensation requests are processed within 7 business days.
Your Data & Privacy
We collect only what we need and protect it rigorously.
Encrypted Storage
Your personal data — including address, phone number, and payment details — is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard AES-256 and TLS 1.3.
No Data Selling
We never sell your personal data to third parties. Your information is used only to provide and improve the Laundrease service.
Number Masking
When our delivery partners call you, your actual phone number is masked. They call through our in-app calling system and never see your personal number.
Right to Deletion
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We process all deletion requests within 7 business days.
Report a Safety Concern
If you ever feel unsafe, notice suspicious behaviour, or want to report a policy violation, please contact our Trust & Safety team immediately. All reports are treated confidentially and investigated within 24 hours.
Every report is taken seriously.
